Cross-linked IXPE foam is a soft closed-cell foam material made from polyethylene through irradiation cross-linking and foaming. The cross-linked molecular structure improves foam consistency, cell stability, resilience, tensile strength, tear resistance and long-term performance.
IXPE foam combines low water absorption, light weight, shock absorption, sound insulation, thermal insulation, cushioning and odor-free performance. It is widely used in automotive interiors, sports and leisure products, protective packaging, construction materials, electronic components, toys, medical cushioning and other industrial fields.
The following IXPE foam specification table helps buyers compare density, hardness, tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, compression set, dimensional change, water absorption and thermal conductivity across different expansion ratios.
T refers to the transverse direction, and L refers to the longitudinal direction. Actual product selection should be based on density, thickness, hardness, lamination structure, processing method and final application.
