Key Features of Neoprene CR Foam

Good flame-retardant performance: CR foam is often selected for applications that require better fire resistance than many general-purpose foam materials.

Elastic and flexible: Neoprene foam can compress and recover, making it suitable for foam gaskets, seals, strips and cushioning pads.

Weather and temperature resistance: CR foam can be used in indoor and outdoor environments where durability and stable performance are required.

Oil and chemical resistance: The material provides resistance to many oils and chemicals, making it suitable for industrial and mechanical applications.

Easy to process: CR foam can be cut, sliced, laminated, die cut, laser cut, backed with adhesive and converted into custom foam products.

Applications of Neoprene CR Foam

Neoprene CR foam has a wide range of applications in industries where sealing, cushioning, insulation, flame resistance and durability are required. Typical applications include the following:

• Oil industry and energy applications.

• Automotive industry seals, pads and vibration-damping parts.

• Gaskets, seals, sealing strips and die-cut foam parts.

• Construction joints, insulation pads and protective foam layers.

• Engineering equipment cushioning and protective components.

• Home and electrical appliance sealing and insulation.

• Foam strips, foam tapes and adhesive-backed neoprene foam products.

• HVAC heating, ventilation and air conditioning sealing and insulation.

What Is CR Foam?

neoprene CR foam sheet and roll

CR foam, also called neoprene foam or chloroprene rubber foam, is a foam rubber material with good flame resistance, flexibility and sealing performance. It can be used in aquatic structures, sports equipment, medical braces, foam pads, gaskets, insulation and industrial protection parts.

Because CR foam combines fire resistance, elasticity and practical cost performance, it is widely selected for projects that require durable foam material with stable compression and protective performance. It can be supplied in rolls, sheets, blocks, strips or custom die-cut parts.

Custom Neoprene Foam Converting Capabilities

Topsun can convert neoprene CR foam into finished or semi-finished foam parts according to customer requirements. Our processing capabilities help customers obtain ready-to-use foam components for sealing, cushioning, insulation and protection applications.

1. Cutting: cut foam sheets, strips or pads according to customer size requirements.

2. Slicing: slice foam thickness according to the required specification.

3. Lamination: provide hot melt film lamination, flame lamination and pressure-sensitive adhesive lamination.

4. Laser cutting: cut foam drawings without opening molds for some customized shapes.

5. Die cutting: open molds according to customer design and produce foam gaskets, seals and pads efficiently.

6. Compression molding: manufacture three-dimensional molded foam and foam composite parts with defined geometry and dimensional requirements.

7. Engraving: produce tool box inserts and packaging inserts according to customer requirements.

8. Silk-screen printing: print logos and patterns on the surface of foam products.

9. Adhesive backing: apply adhesive and release liner to produce foam tapes and self-adhesive foam parts.
