Applications of IXPP foam

♦ IXPP foam has good thermal weldability, thermal processing performance and dimensional stability at high temperature (130°C), and can be used for steaming sand of car roofs, steering wheels, luggage compartment linings and air conditioners Damping panels, side guards, energy-absorbing protection pads for inner door panels, buffer pads, headrests, etc.

♦IXPP is suitable for high-temperature applications, such as car roofs, air conditioner panels, and instrument insulation. It's commonly used as lining and damping material in high-end cars.

♦IXPP can be used as a thermal insulation material for 90~120°C heat carrier cycle batteries and as an engine room heat insulation material.

1.What is IXPP foam sheet?

IXPP Foam (lrradiation Cross-linked Polypropylene Foam), or Radiation Cross-linked Polypropylene Foam, is a closed-cellfoam material formed by treating polypropylene materials with electron beam or gamma ray irradiation under specificconditions, This treatment gives lXPp Foam unique physicochemical properties and makes it suitable for a wide range ofapplications.

2.Advantages of IXPP foam

● More excellent mechanical properties on tensile strength,elongation;

● Easy to cut ,fabrication and process;

● Good thermal deformation behavior ,limit temperature to 140 DEG C.High temperature resistant performance ,and low thermal shrinking rate;

4. Laser Vibrator - New type cutting machine, can cut the foam drawing without open molds

5. Die cutting - Open molds as per your design then at first, use die cutting machine to produce, it’s quicker than laser vibrator.

6. Compression Molding - Compression molding is a process we utilizes for the manufacturing of three-dimensional molded foam and foam composite parts. It is an ideal process for making parts that have intricate features, require very defined part geometry, have varying wall thicknesses or need to be held to critical dimensional tolerances.

7. Engraving machine - Usually to make tool box insert and packing insert as per client’s requests.

8. Silk-screen printing - Print logos and patterns on the surface of foam products

9. Adhesive backing - Gluing on the surface of the foam with liners. Usually produce foam tapes and other products need to stick on.

6.Where is our facility located ?

Our factory is located in Changzhou city, Jiangsu Province. One hour driving to Shanghai Port.
