EVA stands for ethylene vinyl acetate. EVA foam is a lightweight polymer foam with a closed-cell structure in which individual cells are separated from each other.
The closed-cell structure helps reduce moisture absorption and gives the material a smooth surface, stable shape and useful cushioning performance.
EVA foam combines flexibility with dimensional recovery and can be converted into protective inserts, cushioning pads, tapes, gaskets, sports components and other custom foam products.
Density, hardness and thickness should be selected according to the required support, compression, impact protection and finished component design.
Closed cell EVA foam is widely used for tool box inserts, equipment cases and protective storage systems because it combines cushioning with a clean, structured appearance.
Cavities can be cut or engraved according to the dimensions of tools, instruments or equipment. Different foam layers can also be laminated where a multi-level insert structure is required.
For custom tool inserts, provide the case dimensions, tool layout, product dimensions, required foam depth and any color-layer requirements.
EVA foam can protect instruments, electronics, mechanical parts and other products from impact and vibration during storage, handling and transportation.
The correct foam grade depends on product weight, fragility, cavity design, expected impact and the amount of compression available inside the packaging.
Topsun can process EVA foam into custom packaging inserts, pads, trays and protective components according to drawings or product dimensions.
EVA foam can be used in selected gym, sports and recreation products where cushioning, shock absorption, lightweight construction and flexibility are required.
Required density, hardness and thickness should be matched to the intended load, impact level, user contact and finished product construction.
EVA foam can be considered as a cushioning or support layer in suitable artificial grass systems where shock absorption and resilience are required.
For artificial grass projects, foam thickness, density, compression performance, drainage requirements and installation method should be evaluated according to the complete system design.
Flexible EVA foam can be placed between equipment and surrounding structures to provide cushioning and reduce direct mechanical contact.
Suitable foam pads and strips can help absorb shock and reduce vibration transmission in industrial equipment, transportation cases and other assemblies.
